A Shipley-based IT firm is moving on up and making its mark on the region?s technology sector after achieving another record year of growth!

Altrigen Solutions, formed in 2000, has recently moved to new premises on Upper Ashley Lane in the centre of Shipley and recorded a massive 30% increase in turnover in 2005-6 leading to two new appointments.

The firm, who provide a wide range of maintenance and support services for IT systems and networks within both public and private sector clients, is also predicting another record year in 2006-7 with turnover expected to top £1.5 million after strong early business gains.

Managing Director Paul Frear is excited by the prospects:   ?Over the last 12 months we?ve gained a number of large name clients from accountants and solicitors to manufacturing companies and we have also made real inroads into local government supplying and supporting a number of local schools and government bodies.

?We have a dedicated IT department mentality with a friendly, client focused approach and that has enabled us to win a number of key contracts. Our partnerships with Microsoft, IBM and HP also mean that we can provide the best equipment at the right price,? added Paul who established Altrigen as one of a few select Technology Means Business (TMB) firms in the region back in 2003.

He went on: ?We are just starting our third year of being TMB accredited and in that time we have helped over a hundred clients improve their IT systems, often with the aid of grant funding which we are happy to organise.

?Our clients expect us to guide them through the IT minefield, and they come out at the other side of a project with their budgets unscathed and their businesses significantly improved,? concluded Paul who has recently appointed Charles Wilson as a Business Development Manager and James Brown as an IT engineer.

Altrigen gets its unique name from an anagram of triangle which relates to the three original directors who established the firm from the Drummond Group IT department on Lumb Lane.

They are currently offering firms across West Yorkshire a free green tick audit, worth £300, for companies requiring an independent, expert analysis of their systems.
