IMS Welcomes Plastics Pioneer To Uniplan Family

Rotherham software specialist, IMS, is moulding a new relationship with a local pioneer in the plastics industry.

Experts in rotational moulding, Worksop-based XJF Plastics, is the latest company to install IMS?€™ Uniplan software to manage its accounts and production activities.

XJF will be using Uniplan to keep track of costings, quotations and shop floor operations. IMS will also be implementing a complementary suite of software ­ Diver from Dimensional Insight ­ to enable the company?€™s sales department to access relevant information.

Karry Batty, XJF?€™s management accountant and office manager, said: ?€?IMS staff listened to our needs and discussed possible solutions, to provide us with a suitable integrated system. Because Uniplan is aimed specifically at small and medium-sized enterprises, it gives us the flexibility we require to manage our rapid growth.?€?

XJF is regarded as an innovator in the field of rotational moulding and currently works with a wide variety of industries. The company is co-ordinating the implementation of Uniplan with a move to new premises, which will increase its capacity on the shop floor and in its offices.
