Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre

Generator centre, Business Incubator, Youth Entreprise Support and Development Centre. 24 hour access, Hi Tech state of the art IT services with broadband. The Media Centre

Managed by Media Centre Network The Media Centre is a unique environment designed for growing creative businesses and enabling them to flourish. Providing high quality serviced offices in the centre of Huddersfield, a creative programme to stimulate innovation, business support, a café with free wi-fi access, network events and meeting/conferencing and exhibition spaces. Managed by Media Centre Network, the Media Centre has 72 office spaces and 21 live-work studios “Creative Lofts”. In May 2007 this will grow through a further 52 offices with the completion of the most ecologically efficient building in the region. “Virtual” office services are available from £25 per month to £100 per month. East Street Arts - Patrick Studios

ESA is a visual arts organisation founded in 1993 by artists to meet the need of practitioners working in a range of disciplines at different stages in their careers. Patrick Studios is a bespoke centre for artists and provides up to 34 quality studio spaces, resource areas and large project space, as well as specialist support such as access to facilities, information, training and contacts. There is a strong sense of community and identity via communal area and membership scheme and access to networks locally, nationally and internationally. Studio space at Patrick’s is £9 per sq ft pa with studio rentals ranging between £79 - £230. The average size studio costs around £130 per month including heating, rates, electricity, water and offering 24 hour access, 7 days a week all year round.

Beaver Studios

ESA also manage Beaver Studios in Hunslet, south Leeds. This studio complex offers 30 workspaces, 24-hour access with kilns and communal area. Beaver Studios provides space in which to work whilst offering access to artists’ networks, resources and opportunities. The Round Foundry Media Centre Leeds, a state-of-the-art facility for digital, media and creative businesses offering 40 offices for 2 to 25 people, most with parking.
